IS IT THAT IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO FEEL RIGHT?
When you have been in a negative train of thought for a long time, it is sometimes hard to shift to positive thoughts.
Unfortunately, the universe brings you more negative events and situations when you are already in this pattern. Oftentimes you even encounter people that oppose your beliefs, hence you get more upset and you try to defend yourself. Trying to defend yourself or justify your opinion only causes you to stay in your resistant state longer. Why? Because for most people it is more important to feel “right” rather than to feel good.
When a friend is using you as a sounding board and you feel something uncomfortable in your stomach, that’s your higher self telling you to that this conversation is not in harmony with what you want. What is your usual tendency? Stay on the phone to be polite or excuse yourself? You must be willing to please yourself first or you will be swept up by the negativity that surrounds you.
