VIVIAN’S VIBES: TIPS ON ENERGY HEALING:

1) For many of us we want instant manifestation or gratification. What do we do when we want something? People usually complain of what they don’t want in life so they get more of what they complain about. If you could only try to be grateful for 3 things in life such as “I am grateful for my family,” “Thank God for the opportunity to do Yoga today,” or “Thank you God for I have work that supports me and my family.” Recite your affirmation for as little as 17 seconds to activate a parallel thought in the universe and see what kinds of opportunities come your way. REMEMBER: FOCUS on WHAT YOU WANT so even if things are not going well, focus on something that you can be thankful for and watch how God or the Universe gives you what you were asking for.

2) GUT FEELING: Do you ever feel a discomfort in your stomach when you are entering a situation that you’re unsure about? Don’t worry, most of us do. The question is: Do you listen to this gut feeling? If you are used to guiding your life based on your intellect or your conscious self or your ego, you probably ignore it and move on with life anyway only to find out that the choice you’ve made is not the best yet you ignore it and do it again and again. Some of us eventually get a stomach problem or intestinal problem. Why? Because we ignored what our subconscious mind, our Spirit is trying to tell us. We all eventually reach a moment in life when we must come face to face with a force greater than our ego and this is when we let go and let God take over knowing that it’s actually an invitation to accept the most powerful, brilliant, authentic essence of ourselves: our Divine nature.

3) HOW DO I MAKE THE SHIFT? Connecting with your Spirit starts with being aware called awakening. We go through a discovery phase and this is when negative emotions start to call our attention. We become aware that what we’ve been doing all along is no longer working for us. Do you feel internal conflicts? Have you had these conflicts so long that they feel “normal,” or have you just had these feeling these recently? Do you spend time lots of time trying to figure things out mentally but can’t seem to find the peace? After you write the answers to these questions, take the time to find a comfortable position seated and close your eyes. Calmly breathe in and out through your nose. Reflect on what your body is feeling, where is your tightness or your pain? Take a few deep breaths and feel where you feel these sensations when you contemplate the conflict between your ego and your Spirit. With your next breath, let go of all the tension and simply be for a moment or two. Enjoy sitting and breathing deeply, empty your thought and feel your connection to the Source. Notice how peaceful and quiet you can be. This is how it feels to connect to your Spirit and it’s available to you all the time when you remember to breathe.
